Fighting substance abuse is a matter of providing people with appropriate tools to use when life gets difficult and instilling in them a sense of responsibility for their actions.
The Tori Lynn Andreozzi Foundation partners with substance abuse task forces to educate community members, arranges speakers for sober living houses, and gives victim impact statements to help substance abusers understand the potentially devastating repercussions of their actions.
The Foundation helped raise substance abuse awareness in its community by providing funding for production of “The Spot”, a multimedia presentation that was shown to students from middle school through high school. This presentation aimed to educate those students on the consequences of destructive decisions and substance abuse. The Foundation also assisted with print materials needed by the Zero Fatalities Program.
